About Freebird Therapy

A little about who I am and how I work.

I'm glad you found me.

My approach is warm, genuine, and down-to-earth. I don't believe therapy should feel clinical or intimidating. I believe it should feel like sitting with someone who truly sees you, listens without judgment, and helps you make sense of your story at your own pace.

Outside the therapy room, you'll usually find me hiking, paddle boarding, biking, working on my Jeep, spending time outdoors with my dog Shadow, or sitting around a campfire listening to country music. Nature reminds me that growth isn't something we force — it's something we nurture. I bring that same philosophy into my work with clients.

The name Freebird Therapy represents something deeply important to me. To me, a free bird isn't someone who has never been hurt. It's someone who has learned they don't have to stay trapped by their past. Therapy isn't about becoming someone new; it's about discovering the freedom to be fully yourself.

I'd be honoured to walk alongside you.

How I work

Trauma-informed

I work with a nervous-system-focused lens, honouring the ways your past has shaped you without letting it define your future.

Genuinely down-to-earth

Therapy with me feels like a real conversation — warm, honest, and free of clinical jargon.

Evidence-based

I draw from CBT, mindfulness, somatic techniques, narrative therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy.

Tailored to you

Every session is shaped around your unique experiences, strengths, and goals — not a one-size-fits-all model.

Ready to take the next step?

I offer a free 15-minute consultation — no pressure, just a conversation to see if we're a good fit.

Compassionate counselling for adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life's transitions.

You don't have to carry it alone.
